Tein Telecom B.V. has been awarded the project of upgrading the Fortis Netherlands tradefloor and integrating it in the tradefloor of ABN Amro Bank in Amsterdam.
Following the merger of FORTIS Netherlands and ABN Amro Bank, the new bank was facing the challenge of managing two tradefloors. With the Fortis floor being about 10 years old, it was decided to upgrade this floor, and integrate the two floors as part of the project.
The end result will be an expanded tradefloor at the headquarters of ABN Amro Bank in Amsterdam. The floor is now being made redundant, running from two separate Gb Etrali systems. A third system is networked over IP as a DR site, offering immediat access to all the main floor resources.
