In November 2005, the city of Charleroi signed a contract with Brutélé to implement a videosurveillance system on the Boulevard Tirou. Tein Telecom was selected for the installation of the CCTV system.

The system supplied by Tein Telecom includes dome cameras, a management system with a digital recording system installed at the police center, and operating posts used for the surveillance in real-time.
The solution, based on the "Video over IP" technology, is totally integrated in the fiber infrastructure of Brutélé.
The project includes the supply of Visiowave codecs and recording modules, as well as the SIMBA management platform.
Tein Telecom was chosen for this project for its experience recognized in the video integration on IP networks, for the conviviality of the SIMBA graphical interface, and for the numerous possibilities offered by the system in the images analysis area.
2006 - Extension of the system with 9 additional dome cameras in view of the surveillance of the road traffic.
2007 - Extension of the system with 5 additional dome cameras. These cameras are integrated with the dispatching through a wireless network.
