Well known as the worldwide leader in the "added value" logistics, the Belgian company Katoen Natie asks for the services of Tein Telecom to deploy its video surveillance infrastructure.

After the delivery of a high capacity backbone aimed to support the voice and data applications of the company, Katoen Natie asks Tein Telecom to be in charge of the video surveillance solution of its numerous terminals and hangars located on the harbour area of Antwerp.
The narrow coupling between the already existing intrusion detection system and the video management application developed by Tein Telecom (Simba) allows Katoen Natie, among others, to perform a permanent and automatic control of the comings and goings on the site, as well as, in the same time, to optimise the use of dome cameras and the recording capacity.
