Radar/AIS/CCTV integration up and running in the Port of Antwerp !

Port of Antwerp did recently start with the renewing of their radar installation. This is including sensors, computers, cameras and voice recording. Leveraging his current experience within harbours, Tein Telecom together with Barco and Fabricom GTI won the project and took the responsability of the CCTV/AIS/Radar integration and the synchronous voice recording.

Today, the Radar/AIS/CCTV integration is fully operational in Zandvliet. New control centers are going to be equipped in the next 12 months. The result of this integration is a much better visibility for the operators. The port authority is satisfied and is going to implement more radars and more cameras in the near future.
